Fulton FB-C Horizontal Steam Boiler

Fulton’s FB range can be configured for gas, oil or dual-fuel installations and for either steam or hot water applications. The eight boilers in the range include two FB-S models with outputs of 4,699 kg/h and 6,266 kg/h and operating pressures of 12.8 barg, and six FB-C models with steam outputs from 7,810 kg/h to 25,000 kg/h at 10.34 barg. All models can deliver up to 20 barg on demand, feature high-density insulation for very low heat loss and a corrugated furnace that maximises boiler efficiency and longevity while minimising thermal stress.

The FB is a traditional three-pass, wet-back horizontal firetube boilers. The first pass flows through the furnace from front to back. Flue gases then travel from the combustion furnace to the front chamber forming the second pass. For the third pass, gases flow through tubes to the back of the boiler stack and out the exhaust vent, located conveniently at the back of the boiler. The second and third passes travel through heavy-duty seamless tubes.

The FB-S and FB-C boilers have a liberal steam release area, making them an ideal choice for low pressure steam applications. Full modulation provides optimum performance to meet varying load demand. They have a reputation for long life, trouble-free performance and highly efficient operation.

Electropack

Electropack is Fulton’s versatile seven-model range designed for steam loads between 29 and 153kg/h. It is fully packaged in an attractive modern case and all services are connected at the rear for easy installation. The Electropack offers unrivalled flexibility and mobility in a compact unit that occupies minimal floorspace. It is easily moved to provide point-of-use steam wherever required and the heating elements are individually switched to allow the boiler to respond quickly and efficiently to variable steam demands.

The Electropack range is ideal for “clean environments” in applications such as pharmaceutical, medical, chemical and food and beverage processing. EP18-EP72 models have an integrated feedwater tank and feedwater pump, all in one compact unit. The EP100 is supplied with a separate feedwater tank. The Electropack will fit through a standard door opening, making it easy to be used in office and laboratory environments.

The four models in Fulton’s highly-efficient Europack range are designed to meet the requirements of the mid-range demand steam user and are particularly suitable for applications in the medical, chemical and food industries. The four models are available with outputs from 150kW to 300kW and an operating pressure of 10.34 barg.
